Talent Management Asia 2017 is a two-day conference happening in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong in March 2017. The annual event is attended by chief talent officers and senior HR professionals from the biggest companies in Asia.

Christopher Ong is currently managing director at DHL Express. He started his career at DHL in October 2006 as vice-president of business development at the Asia Pacific regional office where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and planning for the region. He was assigned as country manager of DHL Express Vietnam in October 2011 and began his current role in March 2014. Ong graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Tufts University in the US.
Joining him at the conference and carrying more than 13 years experience in both consulting and corporate roles, Sonali Kumar supervises the talent management function for H&M Production as talent management manager. She is in charge of the design and implementation of all talent management initiatives for H&M’s Production business across 18 countries in Asia and Europe. Kumar has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and an MBA from Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) in India and is a Certified Organisational Coach (Level One, IECL).
Next, Talent Management Asia will also see Karen Yap sharing her expertise. She has performed top HR roles in various companies before she became the chief human resources officer at Manulife. Her previous roles included chief human resource officer at Zurich Insurance, vice president for human capital at Green Packet, and HR director at El Lilly. Yap’s areas of expertise include business strategy, talent management, talent acquisition, change management, organisational development, and employee engagement.
Previous Talent Management Asia participants were Fortune 500 companies and major employers across the region, such as CapitaLand, Coca-Cola, Facebook, Fox International, MasterCard, Mitsubishi, Singapore Airlines, Standard & Poor’s, The Nielsen Company, and Unilever.
