Social media has changed the way HR departments and marketing teams approach talent management and employer branding. HR Tech Interactive, the regional invitation-only HR technology event for HR leaders, will dig deeper into the latest strategies in promoting total professional experience with an organisation through social media.
HR Tech Interactive 2016 is a one-day conference for HR business and technology specialists happening in Hong Kong on 30 September, in Kuala Lumpur on 6 September, and in Singapore on 15 September.

HR Tech Interactive will focus on the areas of HR technology research into the HR community has found to represent the most pressing issues for HR professionals in Asia today, including the role of HR tech in talent engagement.
Last year, the conference explained why social media became a disruptive form of communication in the field of HR. The impact of social media on HR activities such as recruitment, engagement and workforce collaboration was explored in a panel session. A case study presentation revealed how social media adds value to several HR functions and its future uses.
This year, HR Tech Interactive 2016 will widen one’s perspective and understanding of the role of social media in refining employee value proposition. For his keynote presentation“Enhancing the employee value proposition with social media,” Charles Hughley, general manager for talent management at Johnson Electric Group, will identify the critical components in building a work environment that aligns with business value and culture. His discussion will also show how employee engagement can be strengthened through communication and branding initiatives and the best platforms to engage with employees.
Hughley boasts over 20 years of experience in human resources and specialises in strategic planning, continuous improvement, and workforce analytics.He has held leadership roles in various Fortune 500 companies and led large domestic and international organisational redesigns, labour negotiations in the US, Brazil, and Mexico, as well as M&A due diligence projects in Europe and the Americas.
Past HR Tech Interactiveparticipants are senior HR leaders from major employers in the region, such as AXA, Credit Suisse, Ericsson, Hewlett Packard, Hyatt Group, Maersk, Petronas, SocieteGenerale, UPS, and Volvo.
