Next generation recruitment tools at HR Tech Interactive

While innovative HR recruitment tools are widely available today, the challenge of selecting the right technologies and knowing when and how to use them to maximise business returns still remains.

At HR Tech Interactive, Asia’s only regional conference dedicated to technology innovation in HR management, speakers and delegates will discuss how technologies from cloud computing to social media plug the gaps in modern recruiting.

“The truth is recruiting the right talent today heavily requires technical prowess and strategic decisions,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.

“HR Tech Interactive 2015 will cover how HR practitioners and business leaders can carve out an effective approach in using technologies for talent search and hiring process.”

Now in its third year, HR Tech Interactive will focus on the areas of HR technology research into the HR community has found to represent the most pressing issues for HR professionals in Asia today, including the use of HR cloud software.

In different interactive sessions, participants will examine the fundamentals and hurdles regarding implementing recruitment tools.

Expert panellists will discuss the use of data-driven recruitment for smarter analytics and business decisions.

Moreover, they will demonstrate how organisations that excel in using analytics, social networks and cloud land on the right people and experience increased ROI.

The panellists who will impart their knowledge and experience on the use of technologies in corporate recruiting are Bilal Waris, head of department HR shared services at Digi, Carl Kimball, vice president of PageUp, and Eriko Talley, head of human resources at Facebook.

“With the event’s interactive layout, all participants will establish a holistic view of today’s recruiting challenges as well as their recommended solutions and insights,” said Evon Yew, regional producer at Human Resources magazine.

Among the other companies represented on the HR Tech Interactive agenda include Credit Suisse, Galaxy Entertainment, Merck, OshKosh, Samsung, Sanofi and many more.

All presenters & panellists, such as David Chin, chief human resources officer of Biosensors International, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

To be held in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong in October, HR Tech Interactive is Asia’s only regional conference on HR technology strategy.

Attendance to the one-day annual event is strictly by invitation only with invitations reserved for the senior in-house HR professionals. Attendance is capped at 100 delegates.

While the theme of HR Tech Interactive 2015 is the role of technology in organisational change, the topics the conference will focus on are: big data talent analytics, mobility for HR professionals, cloud-based people management, social media and collaboration, and next-generation recruitment tools.
