Employee Healthcare Interactive 2016: Topics announced

Each year, Employee Healthcare Interactive continues to be the HR community’s preferred corporate healthcare and wellness strategy conference. Attended by first-rate HR leaders on an invitation-only basis, Employee Healthcare Interactive offers in-depth learning sessions that will help organisations navigate the corporate healthcare and wellness maze.

Employee Healthcare Interactive 2016, Asia’s largest corporate healthcare and wellness conference, will take place in Singapore on 8 December at the InterContinental Hotel.

“The impact of a well-developed employee healthcare policy on employee satisfaction and workplace productivity is now widely recognised by leading organisations,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine. “What delegates will learn at Employee Healthcare Interactive 2016 is the most effective systems in designing and executing health and wellness programmes that are tailored to employee needs and overall business objectives.”

The theme of Employee Healthcare Interactive 2016 is “driving organisational performance through strategic health and wellness initiatives” and the conference will explore the topics that research and industry experts claim as the most critical issues facing HR and corporate healthcare specialists. These topics are:

  1. The status of HR healthcare in Asia – A closer look into disruptive HR models for modern healthcare and wellness and a review of how flexible benefits and wellness programmes affect workplace productivity.
  2. Designing corporate healthcare initiatives – Uncovering different approaches on maximising top-management buy-in on changes in healthcare and wellness policies and communicating the programmes to reach maximum ROI.
  3. Benefits policy restructuring – The processes and components involved in transforming a traditional benefits programme into a flexible benefits programme.
  4. Healthcare insurance market updates – An overview of the different national healthcare systems in Asia and future policy plans for the region, including government schemes and insurance costs.

Past Employee Healthcare Interactive participants are senior HR leaders from major employers in the region, such as American Express, Deutsche Bank, Mitsubishi, Rolls-Royce, Tigerair, Unilever, and Western Digital. All presenters & panellists, such as Rupali Gupta, HR director at Mundi Pharma, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.
