Despite the growing popularity of mobile HR technology in the workplace, recent research has found a majority of employees have doubts about their employer’s ability to manage their mobile security and privacy.
This survey also found the desire for privacy was consistent across all age groups, despite the younger generation of digital natives living out much of their private lives on social media.
Additionally, 49% of employees said the ability to access company emails and work applications outside of office hours is an imposition on their time – despite them wanting flexible work practices, such as being able to use their own devices for work.
With the demand for flexibility and concerns about privacy colliding, it’s clear HR need to work to ensure they get their mobile technology right.
