Human Resources magazine is delighted to announce the participation of Jeremy Blain, regional managing director at Cegos Asia Pacific as a panellist and sponsor for Employee Effectiveness 2014.
Blain will be sharing his thoughts on the future of learning and development (L&D) alongside other senior executives from companies such as Samsung Asia.
“Globalisation, a cross-generational mix, technology, organisations doing more with less, hyper-competiveness – these are all the realities our valuable human capital needs to deal with,” Blain said.
“To do it effectively they need to be trained in innovative, practical and applicable ways to enable growth and success – individually and for the organisation. Without it we experience high turnover of people, less experience retained, loss of competitive advantage.
“Human capital is part of the balance sheet these days and as such needs to be invested in to promote sustainable success.”
A commercially minded L&D entrepreneur responsible for growing Cegos’ business worldwide through his various roles within the company, Jeremy has 13 years’ experience in the industry as a managing director, partner, trainer, coach and programme author.
Blain is also a frequent international conference speaker and media commentator on topics related to the global L&D market, which include themes such as integration of emerging and informal learning technologies, the importance of performance measurement and proving returns on investment.
Employee Effectiveness 2014 will be held from 18-19 June at the PARKROYAL on Beach Road in Singapore.
