How Adidas, AirAsia, Credit Suisse get results from HR tech

Highly respected companies in Asia like Credit Suisse, Adidas and AirAsia will demonstrate how they use HR technology to achieve their desired results at HR Tech Interactive, Asia’s only regional conference dedicated to technology innovation in HR management.

HR Tech Interactive is free-to-attend but admission is by invitation-only. The number of delegates is capped at 100 and only senior regional HR professionals from large companies and government departments are invited.

“As many companies evolve as technology-based organisations, reviewing which HR tools are truly capable of providing commercial benefits has become extremely important,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources.

Now in its third year, HR Tech Interactive 2015 will focus on the areas of HR technology research into the HR community has found to represent the most pressing issues for HR professionals in Asia today. Among the speakers are heads of HR from Adidas, Air Asia and Credit Suisse.

Paul Wong, senior talent acquisition manager of Adidas Hong Kong, supervises the regional talent acquisition function for the Adidas group in Asia. He ensures recruiting excellence across the region particularly in operational recruitment, employer branding projects, ATS implementation and talent pool strategy & execution.

Before this role, Wong handled in-house and external talent acquisition and HR business partner positions with leading organisations.

Group head of leadership & talent development at AirAsia, Wan Ezrin Sazli Bin Wan Zahari, is dedicated to implementing best-value solutions for leadership & talent development across the AirAsia family of companies.

Before this role, he was the group head of people strategy, performance management & talent management. Zahari was responsible for acquiring top talent and formulating standards, policies, and processes for the AirAsia Group.

He is a graduate of the University College London and has worked with DiGi Telecommunications, Petronas, Weatherford and Mouchel.

Credit Suisse’s regional director of human resources for APAC, Timothy Koh, graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in IT & Management from the University of New South Wales.

Before joining Credit Suisse, he served as an HR consultant for Caterpillar, spearheading HR activities across Asia Pacific with a focus on compensation & benefits, succession planning, talent management & development, compliance and HR shared services.

In 2005, he was promoted as head of Asia Pacific human strategy, 6 sigma & global diversity.

Some of the other companies represented on the HR Tech Interactive agenda are Merck, Kimberly-Clark, Credit Suisse, OshKosh, and many more.

All presenters & panellists, such as Freddie Chow, chief talent officer Asia Pacific at Sanofi, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

To be held in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong in October, HR Tech Interactive is Asia’s only regional conference on HR technology strategy.

Attendance to the one-day annual event is strictly by invitation only with invitations reserved for the senior in-house HR professionals. Attendance is capped at 100 delegates.

While the theme of HR Tech Interactive 2015 is the role of technology in organisational change, the topics the conference will focus on are: big data talent analytics, mobility for HR professionals, cloud-based people management, social media and collaboration, and next-generation recruitment tools.
