Malaysia’s most exciting, glamourous and celebratory night in HR is happening later this year, and it’s time you and your team got involved.
Held at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur on October 29th, the second annual Human Resources Excellence Awards 2014 are all about recognising and rewarding excellence in HR throughout Malaysia.
But beyond that – and beyond getting a flashy trophy to take back to the office with you – the evening is about fun, networking and really displaying your organisation’s achievements in helping boost the country’s competencies across all facets of human resources.
But if you need a few more reasons to get started on your entries, here are some points you might not have considered:
1. You don’t know until you try
If our past awards have taught us anything, it’s that everyone stands a chance, regardless of your organisation’s size or budget. Awards are a great gauge in assessing how cutting-edge and effective your HR strategies are, and are also a great benchmarking tool for how you are perceived among your peers.
2. You have 20 chances to win
Actually, you have even more than that, with almost all of our 20 categories having a bronze, silver and gold placing. Plus, the more awards you enter, the better your shot at winning one of the biggest awards of the night – the HR Grand Winner.
Plus, help someone in your team become our second ever Malaysian HR Professional of the Year.
3. You’ll meet like-minded people
It’s always good to get in touch with others in the HR industry, and there’s no better networking than a black tie affair with great food, flowing drinks and a vibrant awards atmosphere. Award nights are a great place to make new business connections – after all, competition encourages innovation, and excellence breeds excellence!
4. Your team will thank you
Participating in awards and bringing your HR team together for a fun night out helps to draw you closer together. Plus, who doesn’t like having their hard work acknowledged? Take the HR Excellence Awards 2014 as an opportunity to appreciate your team for everything they have done in the past year.
5. The awards are FREE to enter!
All you have to do is compile your award entries in the categories you wish to apply for, and submit them here – that’s it. There’s absolutely no charge involved in putting your team forward.
Before you get your entry submissions ready, have a quick read of the entry guidelines to ensure you’re giving yourself the best chance to win.
